Seiko 7A38-7060 quartz chronograph, w/ original box and guarantee booklet
This is an unrestored Seiko 7A28-7060 quartz chronograph. This movement family is, in my opinion, the greatest quartz movement ever made. It certainly was the first analog quartz chronograph movement created; Seiko invented them. These were expensive when new.
15j 7A38a movement is working but is unserviced, and needs servicing. Main sweep hangs up, other registers may as well.
Case is entirely original, including seals and crystal. Watch is not water resistant at all. Crystal has some scratches / marks.
Overall, case & bracelet are in decent condition for the age, including the plated sections
Box is an unusual grey clamshell, not a model I have seen before actually.
