$350.00

This is a complete and original and unrestored example of the higher-end DTU-2A service watch. These were 17-jewel, with hacking. There were lesser variants with lower jewel counts.

This one came to us from an estate, and I haven’t done anything to it at all. It is entirely now as it was then. The original owner appeared to have worn it in a hot & humid environment but not for a very long time. There is some moisture damage to the lume, primarily on the surface of the sweep seconds hand (these were lumed along most of their surface), but the dial and hand lume are good with mild patina. All lume is original. Dial surface is good; all markings are clear and present.

Case is complete with most parkerization still in place, even on the often-lost original crown. Caseback is worn smooth to the metal by the JB Champion private-purchase one-piece leather strap.

This is a nice strap, by the way. U.S. made, Champion also made bracelets for Rolex. Leather in good shape.

Movement runs, hacks, sets as it should but is UNSERVICED and should be serviced before wearing.
