Original example of Seiko’s first true dive watch, the “62mas”. This is from June 1967. Recently reissued by Seiko in the form of the SLA017, the originals have become even more sought-after. This one is the best I have ever owned.
It is in all original cosmetics, including lume, hands, dial surface, marker tops, case finish. There are some minor patina marks on the original lume in the 12, 5, 25, 45 markers, but all of the lume is original.
Watch movement has been fully serviced, and is running with beautiful amplitude - steady and accurate. Case has been entirely cleaned and rebuilt with new seals, including the genuine & original Seiko crown.
Crystal and bezel are new-old-stock Seiko.
